Two of summer’s favorite past times are coming together on Saturday, July 13 at Reading Terminal Market. Get ready for a grilled food and ice cream extravaganza at the annual Sidewalk Sizzle And Ice Cream Freeze.
Some of Reading Terminal’s most popular vendors are setting up shop outside of the market on Filbert Street with their best food in tow.
Indulge in grilled-goodness from Wursthaus Schmitz, Beck’s Cajun Cafe, Pearls Oyster Bar, Hatville Deli and much more. Enjoy shrimp skewers, grilled sausages, kabobs, hamburgers, hot dogs from the loved vendors.
In the world of desserts, enjoy ice cream from Bassett’s Ice Cream and Miller’s Twist, and gelato from Valley Shepherd Creamery.
The all-day festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entry is free and all food is pay as you go.
Family-friendly activities abound as well. Children are invited to partake in free arts and crafts and games.
Munch on grilled eats and tasty ice cream to the tunes of local bands.
