You’ve seen him in Father of the Bride, The Pink Panther and Bringing Down the House. Now, you can check him out live on stage at the Kimmel Center.
That’s right, Philadelphia, America’s funny man, Steve Martin, shares his musical talent (and a healthy dose of humor, of course) with Philadelphia this Thursday evening at the Kimmel Center’s Verizon Hall.
Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers bring their bluegrass music along with a comedic act to center stage this week. Also listen to Martin show off his banjo skills (who knew!) at the evening event.
The group has wowed audiences on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Colbert Report and the Telluride Bluegrass Festival.
The performance features Edie Brickell, an accomplished singer and songwriter whose music has graced the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
Tickets are affordable at $45 to $75 a piece. The affordable event incorporates two of the best things; live music and comedy.
The concert is presented in part with WXPN.
