We only have one thing to say about this weekend: Go outside!

Today is the first day of summer and the weekend forecast appears to be right in line with the calendar, offering up serious sunshine and balmy temperatures today, tomorrow and Sunday.

Lucky us — Philadelphia rings in the first official weekend of the summer with happenings aplenty, from the inaugural local celebration of World Music Day today to Awesome Fest’s free movies tonight and tomorrow and the Manayunk Arts Festival through Sunday.

It’s a jam-packed weekend befitting the warmer temps, so get there and enjoy the city from tonight right on through Sunday.
