The new era of gourmet sports food leaves no stadium behind.
Football fans cheering on our Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field this fall will certainly applaud a tasty new partnership.
ARAMARK, Lincoln Financial Field’s food and beverage provider, and three top Philadelphia chefs are set to bring locally conceived, epicurean-approved menus to the stadium.
Chefs Jose Garces, Marc Vetri and Peter McAndrews will join Tony Luke, Jr. and Pete Ciarrocchi, further expanding the venue’s menus for hungry Eagles fans.
The celebrated chefs and restaurateurs have 22 restaurants between them, and will bring signature items to both the concessions and club level at the field.
From the menus at Vetri’s Alla Spina, look out for the mortadella hot dog, sausage cheesesteak on a pretzel roll and a veggie burger.
Garces’ casual Mexican eatery Distrito translates its chicken and carnitas tacos and guacamole and chips for sports fans.
Chef McAndrews draws from the menu at his serious sandwich shop Paesano’s for his offerings of a brisket sandwich, chicken diavlo, sopressata-wrapped hot dog, meatloaf Parmesan and sweet Italian sausage sandwich.
In addition to the star chefs’ new eats, Lincoln Financial Field also taps new local and regional flavors, serving Tony Luke’s roast pork sandwich, Chickie’s & Pete’s Buffalo chicken cheesesteak, Bassett’s burgers and fries and more.
Of course, fans will still be able to down other local grub like Tony Luke’s cheesesteaks and McNally’s Schmitter sandwich, as well as vegetarian, gluten-free and kosher options, plus food-truck fare from The Dapper Dog, the Distrito truck and Chewy’s at HeadHouse Plaza.
