Make Sushi With Pod’s Finest At Its Brand New Sushi School Every Evening From Sunday Through Thursday, Beginning July 17

Sushi purveyors, we have exciting news for you. Pod is set on making the citizens of Philadelphia sushi chefs of their own this summer.

For $35 per class, beginning on July 17, Pod offers sushi classes to the public Sunday through Thursday in the upcoming weeks.

Two classes will be offered each evening; the first from 6 to 7:15 p.m. and the second from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. Classes are open to just eight people at a time, creating the opportunity for individualized instruction to learn the techniques of prepping and making your favorite kinds of sushi.

The classes will be taught by the restaurant’s own sushi experets, Tomoyuki Takasu and Mr. Kim.

The good people at Pod know that all of the sushi prep may leave you a little hungry, so a menu of miso soup, a tuna hand roll, a California roll, sorbet, glass of wine, coffee, tea or soda will be provided for sushi students.

After the class, guests will be given a sushi making kit to practice their newly learned skill in the comfort of their own home.

The classes run through the summer, but a specific end date has not been set, so call ahead if you’re planning to attend one of the sessions in the later days of summer.
