This holiday weekend, Philadelphia extends America’s birthday celebrations all the way through Sunday with the Taste of Philadelphia food and music festival at Penn’s Landing, July 5-7.
A truly tasty weekend, the annual Taste of Philadelphia returns today for three full days of drool-worthy eats, live music and one awesome fireworks show.
Entry to the food festival is completely free. Once you’re beyond the festival gates, tickets to fare from the likes of The Cow & the Curd, Brown Betty Dessert Boutique, La Marqueza Taco Truck and more are available in $1 increments. Beyond the food, groove to live music from national and local musicians.
On Saturday, July 6, pair eats with a free concert featuring Marsha Ambrosius followed by the Adventure Aquarium Waterfront Fireworks Spectacular. Prime views can be had from Penn’s Landing, of course, but check out our where-to-watch guide for other viewing locations.
In addition to the Penn’s Landing activities, the New Jersey waterfront gets in on the action with the Camden Waterfront Freedom Festival at Wiggins Park on July 5 and 6, 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Across the Delaware River, celebrations continue throughout each day in the public space between Battleship New Jersey and Adventure Aquarium. Head out for souvenir giveaways, displays of military vehicles, brass band concerts, kids activities, barbecue fare and more.
Plus, for more fireworks viewing, the Independence Seaport Museum Fireworks Spectacular will offer another opportunity to enjoy food, drinks, exhibitions and awesome views.
