Indulge in sweet summer treats during Brooklyn Flea Philly's ice cream social, Sunday, August 4. (Image courtesy Brooklyn Flea Philly)
There are few frozen treats that taste better under the summer sun than good ol’ ice cream.
This Sunday, August 4, Brooklyn Flea Philly celebrates the creamy cold confection bonanza-style with desserts from six different vendors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Slurp up scoops for $2 to $5from such local makers as Bassett’s Ice Cream, Capogiro Gelato, Lil’ Pop Shop and Little Baby’s Ice Cream.
Plus, taste the goods of The Bent Spoon from Princeton, NJ and Alchemy Creamery, a vegan ice cream company out of Brooklyn.
Be sure to pick up an Ice Cream Bonanza punch card at each ice cream booth and the Flea’s info table and get four punches (by buying four ice creams) to score a free Brooklyn Flea Philly tote bag. You’ll also be entered to win a special prize announced at the end of the market.
With the 2nd Street Festival rocking alongside the Flea, this soiree will be set to live tunes curated by the Philadelphia Folk Festival, too.
Sounds pretty sweet to us.
