The Complete Works Of William Shakespeare Abridged Comes To Love Park For A Free Performance This Sunday, July 21

This Sunday, July 21, check out one of the most hilarious Shakespeare performances that you’ll ever see.

Three actors and one director from the Commonwealth Classic Theatre Company are slated to perform The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged — 37 of Shakespeare’s plays and 154 sonnets in two acts.

The campy performance makes its way to Love Park as part of a series of free performances. The quickly moving show brings comedy to even some of the most tragic moments in Shakespeare’s repertoire through costumes and fast subject changes.

The 100-minute show is free and begins at 7 p.m. in the midst of Love Park.

Visit the Center City spot for quick snips from all of your favorite Shakespearean performances.

Grab you friends and end the weekend on a high note. Get there early to secure your spot at the front of the crowd.
