The East Passyunk Car Show And Street Festival Races Into Town For Its Annual Showing Of Fine Vehicles Of All Sort, Sunday, July 28

Get ready to start your engines, Philadelphia, next Sunday, July 28, more than 140 classic cars, motorcycles and trucks are making their annual pit stop at the East Passyunk Car Show and Street Festival, a fun summer festival for all.

Check out muscle cars, classic cars, antique cars all shined up.

The finest cars will be in attendance in hopes of taking home one of the sought-after prizes awarded at the festival. Prize categories include best ’50s custom, best low rider, best of show car and a people’s choice award. That’s right, vote for your favorite wheels on the day of the festival.

When the clock strikes 4:30 p.m., the winning cars, trucks and motorcycles will be awarded their prize.

In addition to an afternoon of impressive vehicles, a street fair boasting meal deals, live music, games and vendors takes over the avenue.

On each block of the festival and at certain indoor locations, a different band performs live music for the masses. Music fills the air from noon to 4:30 p.m., and following the festivities, fills Stogie Joe’s from 8 to 11 p.m.

A slew of the avenue’s eateries will set up shop along the street and serve eats to festival goers, but certain spots like Birra, Plenty and Belle Cakery will provide indoor eats. In typical street fare fashion, the bites will ring in at affordable prices, most are priced at $5 or below. Enjoy margarita and brunch specials at Cantina Los Caballitos, a craft beer bar at The Bottle Shop and indulge in pizza and Italian sandwiches from Marra’s.

Mobile eateries will also head to the avenue for the occasion, think Little Baby’s Ice Cream and the Tot Cart.

The Singing Fountain welcomes a craft fair boasting a variety of items from more than 40 vendors and a kid-zone rounds out the child-centric fun.

The festival spans from Broad to Dickinson Streets on East Passyunk Avenue.

Entry for festival attendees is completely free, and for those looking to show off their car, truck or motorcycle, entry is $15 per vehicle.
