Bluepoints and Wellfleets and Easterns, oh my!

On Friday, September 20, Reading Terminal Market will be a veritable oyster wonderland during its first-ever OysterFest celebration.

From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to sample a dozen varieties of these tasty mollusks, each paired with a local craft beer.

Partner merchants to be featured at this seafood soiree include Molly Malloy’s Bar & Grill, Pearl’s Oyster Bar and Fair Food Farmstand.

Admission costs $50 per person, and all of the net proceeds will benefit Fair Food Philly, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing healthy local food to the marketplace and promoting a humane, sustainable agriculture system in our region.

If you’re an oyster fan, you won’t want to miss this shellfish extravaganza.

Here’s the snag – there are only 150 tickets available for this inaugural event.

Purchase yours online today before they sell out.
