Ready for a long, relaxing holiday weekend, Philadelphia? We sure are.
Sure, Labor Day weekend is the unofficial culmination of summer, but by no means does that translate to an end to alfresco dining, outdoor festivities and blockbuster exhibitions that have made the balmy months of summer so action-packed in Philadelphia.
This weekend brings on a slew of holiday-worthy happenings, with Jay Z’s highly anticipated Made In America Music Festival on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway leading the push on Saturday and Sunday, August 31 and September 1. The music mogul has an incredible lineup booked, with none other than his wife Beyonce headlining on Saturday night and the recently-reunited Nine Inch Nails.
Beyond Jay Z and Bey, this Labor Day weekend is filled with opportunities to take in excellent exhibitions, seasonal festivals, summertime markets and much, much more.
Make the most of this weekend with our top picks for everything to do Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We’ll be ducking out a little early today to rest up for fall, but we’ll see you right here next week!
Have a relaxing and safe Labor Day!
