Explore the galleries of the Barnes Foundation, a museum that is home to hundreds of works by Renoir, Cézanne and Matisse, Picasso (and many other renowned artists!), at no cost at all on the first Sunday of each month.
Thanks to PECO and the Barnes, guests are invited into the museum for free on the first Sunday, including this Sunday over Labor Day weekend, September 1.
First Sunday tickets grant attendees access to the main collection, special exhibitions and special programming. This Sunday, check out Ellsworth Kelly: Sculpture on the Wall, the Barnes’ special contemporary exhibition that is set to close on September 30.
To snag your free tickets to the Barnes Foundation, head to the museum on the first Sunday of the month beginning at 9 a.m. and pick up your desired ticket. Take note, free tickets are not available online or in advance, tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Also, plan accordingly, the Barnes Foundation offers a maximum of two adult tickets and two children tickets per transaction.
The earlier you get there the better — tickets are sure to run out, especially with the Made in America festival rocking next door on August 31 and September 1.
