The ultimate deal-seekers festival, the Baltimore Avenue Dollar Stroll returns to Cedar Park this Thursday, September 12.

University City District’s highly anticipated one-night-only deal fest draw tens of thousands to Baltimore Avenue in the Cedar Park and Spruce Hill neighborhoods of Philadelphia to celebrate the Dollar Stroll with an abundance of deals for a buck.

The bargain-filled evening runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., and spans 43rd to 50th Streets on Baltimore Avenue, essentially from Clark Park to Cedar Park.

With more than 30 vendors lined up to participate, there will be absolutely no shortage of deals to be had.

Due to unfortunate inclement weather, Dollar Strolls planned for earlier this summer were cancelled, so mark your calendars now and don’t miss the one-and-only Dollar Stroll of the season!

Read on for our guide to the evening’s festivities, and see below for the event map and complete vendor list.

The Food and Drink

A wide array of Baltimore Avenue restaurants set up shop outdoors along the sidewalks, so strollers need only grab a few bucks and head out to graze the selection.

Look for West Philly’s Green Line Cafe to dish hot dogs, carrot dogs and creamy Weckerly’s ice cream, Gold Standard Cafe to provide chicken wraps, Desi Village to serve samosas and mango lassis and the popular Mariposa Food Co-op to satisfy sweet tooths with banana whips and cookies.

Deals from Little Baby’s Ice Cream, Aksum, Milk and Honey Market, Vientiane Cafe, Hibiscus and more also take over the avenue.

All for a mere four quarters. And that’s not all.

Numerous food trucks will set up shop at the event, too, including Sweet Box, Jimmies Cupcakes, the Tot Cart, Lil Dan’s and Sunflower Truck Stop.

For brews, report to Dock Street Brewery at 50th Street and Baltimore Avenue to serve up seven-ounce pours of craft brews and pint glasses.

Shopping and Entertainment

Though the food and drink may be the main draw, the Dollar Stroll deals encompass so much more.

In addition to the food and drink, look out for the roving bag pipe player and check out live music from The Fleeting Ends, face painting, balloon art and fire artists at the 46th Street Triangle.

Scoop up West Philly notecards and stickers at VIX Emporium, $1 yoga classes at Studio 34, tickets to preview performances from Curio Theatre Company, kazoos at The Green Tambourine, swag from the Friends of Clark Park, and more.

Also, be sure to pay a visit to the brand new Pedestrian Plaza at 48th Street and Baltimore Avenue.
