From 2 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, make your way to Hawthornes Cafe for its second annual Ales 4 Tails Block Party, a beer-fueled fundraiser for the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society or PAWS.
Hawthornes closes the doors to its popular beer boutique and eatery in the name of alfresco fun and brings more than 30 craft brews, ciders and bites outside. Sip an assortment of suds and cider all for just $5 a pop and for a good cause.
Enjoy festival treats like sausage and peppers, burgers, macaroni and cheese, kabobs, dessert and much more.
The festival spirit continues with live music from a number of local musicians throughout the day and a variety of family-friendly games like a bean bag toss, pony rides, putt-putt and more.
Raise a glass to your furry friends at the afternoon block party. Proceeds benefit PAWS and its mission to provide homes and care for homeless animals.
Stop by the ATM before the weekend block party, this is a cash-only event.
