Are you itching for a truly unique experience? The Mütter Museum has your answer.
Pack your sleeping bag and pillow, the historic museum is inviting guests in for a sleepover among its anatomically strange collection on Friday, November 8. What’s anatomically strange exactly? Think a skeleton of a seven-and-a-half foot man, enlarged organs and much more.
The evening’s festivities are seriously cool and nearly endless — tour the museum by flashlight, watch a screening of The Sixth Sense complete with pizza and popcorn, sip two glasses of wine or beer, take part in a séance in the library, enjoy a continental breakfast in the morning and if the weather’s nice, sit outside for a campfire and ghost stories.
The overnight adventure begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, November 8 and runs through 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 9.
Tickets ring in at a lofty $200 for non-members and $150 for friends of the Mutter Museum. Tickets are available online. The lofty price also benefits a great cause, the Mütter Museum’s upkeep and educational programs.
