Head to Chestnut Hill this holiday season as the charming town ushers in that yuletide feeling with tons of festive events for a full month — from Friday, November 22 through Sunday, December 22.
Tomorrow, November 23 at 5:30 p.m., Chestnut Hill rings in the holidays with the annual Circle of Trees lighting event. Watch Chestnut Hill’s resident Christmas trees illuminate for the season and enjoy hot chocolate, cookies, Mummers and even a visit from Santa Claus himself.
Take note, for the first time ever, the Circles of Trees event is set to take place at the Woodmere Art Museum.
Over the course of the month, look forward to the return of Stag and Doe shopping nights, which offer opportunities to escape the chaos of mall shopping and support the small businesses of Chestnut Hill. On Wednesdays, December 4, 11 and 18, shop to your heart’s content as businesses along Germantown Avenue remain open for holiday shoppers until 9 p.m. Carolers, seasonal refreshments and helpful gift ideas from shop owners complete the recurring event.
Looking for more shopping? Be sure to check out the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s Holiday Pop-Up Store on Germantown Avenue for a range of holiday decorations, items for the garden, kitchen goods and more.
The full list of upcoming holiday events is available right here. From weekly Santa strolls along Germantown Avenue and holiday house tours, there’s a ton going on.
Plus, Chestnut Hill has a gift for its residents and visitors, too, offering free parking every weekend from November 23 through December 22 and free parking on Wednesday nights.
