If pairing turkey and gravy with the perfect variety of vino seems mystifying, it’s time to take a few tips from the experts.
Fortunately, Jet Wine Bar in Graduate Hospital has you covered.
The intimate wine bar, which features wines from around the globe along with a revolving menu of small plates, invites amateur oenophiles to a Thanksgiving-themed tasting on Tuesday, November 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
In another addition of Jet’s Global Vineyard Passport Series, sip a five-wine tasting of varieties that wine expert Bob Barrett and Jet Wine Bar owner Jill Weber know will complement that turkey dinner.
From a dry Gruet sparkling rose from New Mexico to a bright Christophe Pacalet Cru Beaujolais from France, the tasting selection includes both red and white, and is sure to both inform and inspire.
For a $25 ticket, enjoy the two-hour guided tasting with Barrett and Weber, plus light snacks and a 15-percent discount on an additional bar tab.
Tickets are available online and seating is limited.
Be sure to score your spot soon to learn what to pour on Thanksgiving day.
