Halloween may have passed, but there’s one final chance this season to scare yourself silly.
Eastern State Penitentiary’s iconic and award-winning haunted house Terror Behind the Walls wraps its 2013 season with one final show this Saturday, November 9.
But don’t expect the same fright fest guests experienced earlier this fall. The last show night is the wholly different adventure REMIX: Lights Out.
As if the six terrifying attractions within the crumbling cellblocks of the historic prison weren’t scary enough, all night on Saturday visitors will experience them in complete darkness.
Yup, lights out on Terror Behind the Walls.
With the light from just a single glowstick as a guide, braves guests will find their own way out of the pitch-black hallways of the 11-acre penitentiary.
Be prepared, this year there’s an option for a darker, more sinister, and, for the first time ever, interactive show. If you choose the interactivity, the whole experience changes. Rather than the actors just jumping out and scaring you, you may actually be grabbed, held back, sent into hidden passageways, removed from your group, or even occasionally incorporated into the show.
And on Saturday, all that frightening action goes down in the dark.
Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
