It’s no secret that Christmas isn’t for everyone.

For those who aren’t looking to celebrate the holiday, but still want to be out and about, the good people at The Gershman Y present a not-to-miss evening on December 24.

Tipping a hat to the large population of Jewish folks who nosh on Chinese food on Christmas Eve, head to Joy Tsin Lau Restaurant in Chinatown for Kung Pao Klezmer, a new Christmas Eve tradition for non-celebrators. Beginning at 6 p.m., treat your taste buds to a multi-course Chinese meal ringing in at $48 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under.

Take note, the menu is not kosher, but vegetarian items will be available.

While chowing down, guests will be treated to live music performed by Klingon Klez, an upbeat fusion band from the area.

Tickets are available online.
