This year, New Year’s Eve in Philadelphia will once again include two fireworks shows at both 6 p.m. and midnight as SugarHouse Casino presents New Year’s Eve fireworks on the Delaware River Waterfront.

Whether you’re looking to catch the 6 p.m. fireworks or the midnight fireworks, numerous parties that line the waterfront, in both Philadelphia and Camden, allow revelers to take in the spectacular fireworks shows on New Year’s Eve.

Parties During The 6 p.m. Fireworks Show

 
New Year’s Eve Kid’s Countdown at Franklin Square: 3-6 p.m. Ring in the New Year with the final show of Franklin Square’s Electrical Spectacle Holiday Light Show followed by a clear view of the 6 p.m. fireworks show at Penn’s Landing. From 3 to 6 p.m., enjoy crafts, music and the “Square Drop” from the top of Square Burger, Franklin Square’s resident eatery.

New Year’s Eve Splash at Adventure Aquarium: 5-8:30 p.m. Watch the 6 p.m. fireworks show from across the Delaware River at Adventure Aquarium’s New Year’s Eve Splash, a full night of sea animals, music, activities and a dance party. Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for children 2 through 12 and free for children under 2. Tickets are available online.

New Year’s Eve on Battleship New Jersey: Until midnight. The Battleship New Jersey ushers in 2014 with gorgeous views of both the 6 p.m. and midnight fireworks and plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Tickets for both the 6 p.m. and midnight fireworks shows are $10 per person. Guests may purchase bites and drinks at the events, too. Before the 6 p.m. fireworks, folks are invited to attend a family tour of the battleship for $50 per family of two adults and up to three children (the price includes the fireworks, too).

Family New Year’s Eve at The Independence Seaport Museum: 4-7 p.m. From 4 to 7 p.m., families are invited to take in the views of the Delaware River and the 6 p.m. fireworks show at the Independence Seaport Museum’s family-style New Year’s Eve party. Look forward to noisemakers, hats and a toast with sparkling cider. Access to the party is included in admission to the museum.

Early New Year’s Eve Fireworks Dinner Cruise on The Spirit of Philadelphia: 4-6:30 p.m. The whole family is invited to hop aboard The Spirit of Philadelphia for its family-friendly dinner cruise beneath the 6 p.m. fireworks show. Tickets are $99.90 for adults and $59.90 for children ages 3 through 12. Tickets include a dinner buffet, soda and juice bar, an on-site DJ and holiday decor.

Family New Year’s Eve Fireworks Extravaganza on The Benjamin Franklin Yacht: 4:30-7 p.m. Watch the 6 p.m. fireworks show erupt into the sky while aboard the Benjamin Franklin Yacht’s family-friendly New Year’s Eve party. Tickets to the fete include hot chocolate, light bites, access to a dance floor with a well-loved DJ, buffet, party favors and more. Tickets are $58 for adults and $33 for children ages 3 through 12 and free for children under 3. Adults, enjoy sips from a cash bar.

Parties on Ice at The Blue Cross RiverRink: 5-7 p.m. and 11 p.m.-1 a.m. Join the hub of the action at Blue Cross RiverRink’s parties on ice, two parties corresponding with the 6 p.m. and midnight fireworks. The first party runs from 5 to 7 p.m. and includes snacks, drinks, crafts, live entertainment and holiday party favors. The second party is from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. and includes photo keepsakes, party favors, psychics and live entertainment. Not looking to skate on New Year’s Eve? Join the fun at RiverRink anyway — tickets are $35 for skaters and $25 for spectators. Tickets are available online.

Dave & Busters New Year’s Eve at Night Party: 4-7 p.m. and 9 p.m.-1 a.m. At waterfront arcade and gaming funhouse Dave & Buster’s, the New Year’s Eve parties rock all evening. After a family-friendly affair at from 4 to 7 p.m., the 21 and up crowd parties from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Celebrate with a four-hour open bar, dinner, dessert and dancing before watching the fireworks at midnight for $90 per person or $160 per couple; without the open bar $55 per person or $100 per couple. Tickets are available online.

Fireworks Family Buffet New Year’s Eve at The Hyatt Regency at Penn’s Landing: 4-6 p.m. Kids and adults alike are invited to feast on food of all sort and take in sweeping views of the 6 p.m. fireworks at The Hyatt Regency’s family buffet. Pass the time before the show with face painting and games. The buffet and show is $65 for adults, $35 for kids ages 3 through 12 and free for children under 2. Plus, guests receive free parking in the Hyatt’s garage.

Moshulu: 4 p.m.-1 a.m. Interested in dinner and a show this New Year’s Eve? Look no further than the Moshulu as it serves up a prixe-fixe meal paired with live entertainment, a champagne toast and party favors during both the 6 p.m. and midnight fireworks. Take in the sky-brightening show from the deck of the ship.

Sugarhouse Casino: 10 p.m.-2 a.m. Take in a spectacular view of the midnight fireworks from Sugarhouse Casino’s waterfront deck while grooving to live soul tunes, noshing on appetizers and sipping from the open bar until 2 a.m. Tickets are $65 in advance and $75 at the door. The Lodge at Waterfront Winterfest: 9 p.m.-1 a.m. Enjoy views of the midnight fireworks show from The Lodge, a 500-person warming tent and American-style beer garden, at Waterfront Winterfest at Penn’s Landing. Vintage New Year’s Eve at The Independence Seaport Museum: 10 p.m.-2 a.m. Dress in your finest vintage attire for The Independence Seaport Museum’s Vintage New Year’s Eve Party presented by professional party throwers, Mole Street Productions, Drink Philly and Rolling Barrel. Revolution House: Until 2 a.m. Revolution House, an Old City bar and restaurant offers guests stunning views of both the 6 p.m. and midnight fireworks at Penn’s Landing. Head to the upstairs roof deck for snacks, drinks, a DJ and great views on the final eve of 2013. Beginning at 10 p.m., guests must pay a $10 cover to access the upstairs deck.

The Hyatt Regency at Penn’s Landing’s VIP New Year’s Party: 8 p.m.-1:30 a.m. Dance, dine and drink your way into 2014 at The Hyatt Regency’s VIP New Year’s Party. Tickets are $135 per person and include a decadent buffet, dancing, beer, wine and spectacular views of the midnight fireworks show.

Moshulu: 4 p.m.-1 a.m. Interested in dinner and a show this New Year’s Eve? Look no further than the Moshulu as it serves up a prixe-fixe meal paired with live entertainment, a champagne toast and party favors during both the 6 p.m. and midnight fireworks. New Year’s Eve Fireworks Dinner Cruise on The Spirit of Philadelphia: 8:30 p.m.-1 a.m. An open bar, festive eats, and a midnight champagne toast takes over The Spirit of Philadelphia this New Year’s Eve. Catch the midnight fireworks show from the Delaware River while raising a glass to the new year. Tickets are $174.90 per person. Keep in mind, this is a 21-plus party.

2014 New Year’s Eve Fireworks Cruise on The Benjamin Franklin Yacht: 9:30 p.m.-1 a.m. Party into the wee hours of the night on The Benjamin Franklin Yacht as it presents its 2014 New Year’s Eve Fireworks Cruise complete with an open bar, buffet, party favors, a DJ, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets are $108 per person for the 21-plus cruise.
