Heads up, winter revelers! The Piazza at Schmidt’s is now home to a 5,000-square-foot pop-up ice skating rink that welcomed its first skaters on Saturday, November 30. The family-friendly destination is open to anyone and everyone of all ages and skating levels.
To celebrate the grand opening, head to The Piazza tonight, December 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. for the official ribbon cutting, a tree lighting ceremony, food trucks, photos with Santa, carolers, a photo booth, festival-style vendors and free skating for all. That’s right, free ice skating.
Aside from tonight’s free skating event, taking advantage of the seasonal skating will be super easy, too, with evening hours Monday through Friday, all-day skating on the weekends, convenient parking and accessible price points — adults pay just $5 to skate and $1 for skate rentals.
Dust off your ice skates, grab your winter hat and embrace the winter spirit.
