The Victoria Freehouse in Old City celebrates the birthday of Robert Burns, Scotland’s premier romantic-era poet and lyricist, with a three-course dinner, scotch flight and a live bagpipe performance on Saturday, January 25 from 7 to 9 p.m.
For $30, indulge in three-courses of traditional Scottish fare — cock-a-leekie soup, haggis and whiskey cake with scotch ice cream.
For an additional $20, sip a scotch tasting flight made up of three different spirits.
Also sip additional pours of Macallan whiskey, provided by a representative from the distillery, including Cutty Sark, which appropriately is the subject of one of Burns’ poems.
Look forward to evening accompaniment from live bagpipe performers, readings of Burns’ most celebrated poems and more.
