In search of the dress?
This Saturday, January 25, Philadelphia-based Anthropologie’s sister brand BHLDN hosts its first-ever sample sale at its sprawling Navy Yard headquarters in South Philadelphia.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., brides-to-be will have the chance to shop wedding dresses that were originally priced upwards of $3,000 for the much more reasonable costs of $100, $200 or $300.
The BHLDN styles are designed for brides looking for distinct looks, and may include such designers as Anna Sui, Badgley Mischka, Catherine Deane, Jenny Yoo and Tadashi Shoji.
From whimsical Bohemian gowns to romantic lacey frocks and more, a wide selection of dresses is promised for the sale.
Note that no appointments necessary and no fitting rooms will be available, though there is free parking at the Navy Yard.
The sale takes credit cards only, and all items will be sold as is and are final sale.
Of course, like most sample sales, the merchandise is available on a first come, first swoon basis.
