Johnny Brenda’s Serves Up Tripel Ales And Belgian Food At Its 5th Annual Trouble With Trippels Event, This Saturday, January 11
It’s the fifth year of Johnny Brenda’s The Trouble with Trippels event, a beer-fueled day complete with Belgian-themed fare and an on-site DJ.
On Saturday, January 11, indulge in an array of on-tap trippel beers — strong Beligan-style pale ales — all while supporting Philly’s local beer scene.
Sips include Victory white monkey, Weyerbacher merry monks and Stoudt’s abbey tripel. Sample as many brews as your heart desires thanks to tasting flights, as well.

Pair your brews with a side of weekend brunch.
Enjoy Belgian food selections from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. including duck scrapple, leg of rabbit, apple tarte tatin and vegetable terrine.
Also, groove to cosmic-style tunes provide by DJ Los, set to be on the turntables from 2 to 6 p.m.
The beer specials run all night long, too, so be sure to come ready to imbibe.
Best of all, there’s no entry fee for this annual event.
