This spring, TEDxPhiladelphia will turn the spotlight on the best and brightest brains in the city.

Set for Friday, March 28, TEDxPhiladelphia will draw on talented members of Philadelphia’s creative community to give talks, performances and exhibitions around the 2014 conference theme The New Workshop of the World, celebrating the community of makers, doers, entrepreneurs and artists that make this city a hub for innovation.

Who do you want to hear from?

Each speaker has just 18 minutes to compel audiences with an influential presentation, but topics can run the gamut from healthcare to food to social justice.

Now is the time to nominate a TEDxPhiladelphia speaker, and nominations close tomorrow Thursday, January 16.

Whether you want to nominate yourself, a colleague or just someone you admire, check out the online nominations form right here.

The event will be held at Temple Performing Arts Center, located on Temple University’s campus on North Broad Street.

Tickets, starting at $75, are now on sale, and include the full-day of talks, plus snacks, lunch and a post-event reception.

If the price tag is beyond your reach, check out the scholarship opportunities for free or reduced admission to attend.

And stay tuned for more on what promises to be an amazing meeting of Philadelphia minds.
