Magpie’s Holly Ricciardi Shares The Secrets Of Perfect Pie Making At Special Classes This Winter

Learn to make pie with the best of them (i.e. Magpie owner, Holly Ricciardi) at Magpie’s upcoming special edition pie classes this winter.

The first falls on Thursday, January 23 and is a guys-only affair.

Dudes are invited to make apple cheddar crumb pie and indulge in Saint Benjamin Brewing Company’s English Mild Ale from the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. Tickets for the Guys and Pies event is $90 per person and include dinner, dessert and plenty of beer samples.

In the spirit of St. Valentine, cozy up with your other half at Magpie’s Sweetie Pies class on Thursday, February 13. Create mini-pies just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Couples will learn how to make apple cinnamon crumb and raspberry chocolate treats and will head home with two dozen mini-pies per couple.

While the mini-pies are baking, look forward to sampling slices of chocolate mousse with raspberry puree and brownie chunk pie served with a glass of raspberry Lambic beer.
