This month, The Mauckingbird Theatre Company, Philadelphia’s premier gay theater company, presents Beautiful Thing, a story of first love during difficult times.
Beginning tomorrow, January 15, watch the story of two teenage boys and their newfound love unfold in an area where poverty and violence prevails in Southeast London.
Even during times of extreme trouble, main characters Jamie and Ste manage to bring light to their lives through love in the heartwarming — and heart wrenching — story.
Running through Sunday, February 2 at the Skybox at The Adrienne Theatre, tickets ring in at $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and $15 for students.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Beautiful Thing by British playwright Jonathan Harvey, which opens Mauckingbird Theatre Company’s 2014 season.
