Today/Tonight Picks, Snow-Day Edition: Warm Up With Fireside Dining, Pho And Ramen, Beer Olympics At The Cambridge, BalletX Opening Night And More

It's pretty snowy out there, folks. Stay warm with a meal next to a fireplace at one of many restaurants or a beer-fueled evening at The Cambridge. (Photo by M. Edlow for Visit Philadelphia)

Be careful out there, the snow is making it pretty difficult to get around and tons of cool events — Night Skies in the Observatory at The Franklin Institute, Warby Parker expansion party at Art in The Age — have been canceled or postponed.

But, no need to fear, there’s still a bunch going on this evening despite the snow.

Cabin fever? We have your answer. Wine and dine next to a fireplace as tons of restaurants provide diners with toasty fireside dining all winter long… and there’s never been a better night for a fireplace. Or, warm up with a giant bowl of soul-nurturing ramen or pho on this cold, winter night.

For those looking to down a few beers this evening, The Cambridge hosts its beer Olympics, a series of beer match-ups during the winter games where brews (and those sipping the brews) compete in a series of kick the keg competitions.
