For anyone who has ever wondered about the value of antiques within their home, WHYY and Freeman’s Auctioneers and Appraisers are ready to answer all of those questions at the Antique-a-Palooza event.

This Sunday, March 23 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., head out to the WHYY headquarters in Old City with collectibles in tow for a full day of antique appraisals performed by local professionals.

Bring all sorts of antiques — fine art, jewelry, decorative objects, photographs, books, manuscripts, rugs, toys, sports memorabilia and more. What’s not allowed? Weapons and collections (stamps, cards, etc.).

Tickets are $120 and grant two people admission to the event, along with two items for appraisal and a WHYY membership pledge. Take note, tickets are timed and are only valid during the time printed on the ticket.

Fill out the ticket form online.

WHYY and Freeman’s Auctioneers and Appraisers hosted the first Antique-a-Palooza in July 2013 and are bringing the popular event back — about 700 folks are expected to come out!
