Hungry for a feel-good event? Support local HIV/AIDS services on Thursday, April 24 during the annual Dining Out for Life Philadelphia event.
Getting involved is seriously easy, all you have to do is head out to one of the participating restaurants or food trucks in the Greater Philadelphia area. From there, just order your favorite fare and voila — you’re contributing.
The restaurants and trucks — more than 150 in all — will donate 33 percent of their profits from Thursday, April 24 to the cause and participating restaurants include popular spots like Little Nonna’s, Barbuzzo, Alla Spinna, Fette Sau, Amis, Red Owl Tavern, Kanella and Tria.
Check out the still-growing list of more than 150 participating restaurants here.
At select participating restaurants, diners can also take part in 20-Percent Off Tuesdays. Diners who donate $25 or more to the cause on the night of Dining Out for Life will receive 20 percent off their bills for the rest of the Tuesdays of this year at these restaurants.
Philadelphia’s Dining Out For Life benefits ActionAIDS, AIDS Delaware, Family and Community Service of Delaware County and Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
