South Philadelphia Tap Room Celebrates The Release Of A Brand-New Allagash Brew With Allagash And Oysters, This Friday, March 21

It’s time to welcome spring with lighter eats and drinks, and oysters and Belgian farmhouse-style brews certainly fit the bill.

Allagash Brewing Company, out of Portland, Maine, is slated to debut a brand-new beer — Allagash Saison — throughout March and April and the folks at South Philadelphia Tap Room are celebrating the release with a Friday night party.

Beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 21 (happy hour, anyone?), sip discounted Allagash Saison, Allagash White, Allagash Black and Allagash Interlude and take home free Allagash swag.

Did we mention that the featured Allagash brews will be flowing on draft?

Pair the craft beer with an oyster tapas tasting menu featuring raw oyster prepared with uni, horseradish, lemon; oyster and shrimp ceviche made with orange, grapefruit, Thai basil and chile; and fried oyster complete with celery cream and brioche.

Craft beer and oysters are the name of the game this Friday night at the South Philly hang.
