Celebrate Philadelphia and its 10 Sister Cities at the annual Sister Cities Park International Festival, a free festival on Saturday, May 3 — the day we’ve dubbed Super Spring Saturday.

From noon to 5 p.m., enjoy a wide range of programming that honor traditions in countries including Japan, Cameroon, China, Poland and France.

Festivalgoers are invited to sample an array of food and drinks inspired by common cuisine in our 10 Sister Cities. Fill up on plates like caprese sandwiches, maki rolls, sesame lo mein, an assortment of French cheese and much more. Guests over the age of 21 are encouraged to pair their fare with international wine and beer, too.

In addition to food, look forward to dance performances from the Guang Hua Chinese School, in addition to a traditional Bensinkin-Cameroonian dance. Feast your eyes on worldly fashions as a Cameroonian fashion show takes the runway and groove to music provided by Israeli Pop and R&B artist, Hadar.

Performances begin at 12:05 p.m. and continue until the end of the festival at 5 p.m. For the full list of performances, click here.

The Sister Cities International Festival is one of the more than 10 festivals slated for Saturday, May 3. Plan accordingly and check out our guide to all of the fests (and how to make it to all of them, too!).
