The City of Brotherly Love embraces its fantastic festival season on Saturday, May 3 with a number of blockbuster festivals.
On South Street, the Graduate Hospital neighborhood gets in on the alfresco festival action with a fun family-friendly event.
Plazapalooza hits Grays Ferry Triangle — located at 23rd and South Streets — Saturday, May 3 from 1 to 7 p.m. The event will boast food, beer, live music, family fun and more.
Local bands will be performing live, brews will flow and there will be food offerings from local eateries in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood.
Plazapalooza is sponsored by the Grays Ferry Triangles Gateway Project — an initiative aimed at enhancing Grays Ferry Avenue. Festivities surround the Catharine Thorn Fountain, which was turned on for the first time in years last spring.
