Happy Easter, Philadelphia!

With the Easter holiday comes a score of themed dinners, brunches and events in neighborhoods across the city. From family-friendly egg hunts and prix-fixe brunch to South Street’s annual Easter promenade an Easter Sunday Zombie Bar Crawl, the happening are nearly endless.

The Franklin Flea indoor market returns for a new season of vintage and handmade treasure-hunting at the historic Strawbridge’s Building. Plus, on opening day which is Saturday, April 19, chef Eli Kulp of High Street on Market brings artisan sandwiches, spiked punch and canned beer to the space.

The Oval, the pop-up park on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, hosts a slew of open-air fun as it presents Farm Fest at The Oval complete with craft beer, live music, games, food trucks, local drinks from nearby farms, a petting zoo and more.

Plus, we just updated our brunch guide for spring 2014, so read it, bookmark it and definitely use it.

This weekend’s weather forecast calls for mostly sunny skies and temps in the mid-60s making for an ideal weekend to enjoy an array of alfresco events.
