Burger-lovers, rejoice — the Philadelphia Burger Brawl is back.
The Burger Brawl, a fundraiser for Philly’s public school system, is back and bigger than ever for its fourth year of friendly burger competition on Sunday, June 8 from 3 to 6 p.m.
This year, the foodie frenzy takes over Xfinity Live in order to invite a record number of restaurants and guests. Participating restaurants fire up the grill and make their best burger in hopes of taking home the best burger crown.
Look forward to inventive creations from 40 local restaurants including Butcher and Singer, Paesano’s, PYT, Parc, Cheu Noodle Bar, Alla Spina, Rex 1516 and Percy Street Barbecue. The full list of participating restaurants is available right here.
After sampling the burgers, vote for your favorite — one eatery will be crowned the People’s Choice winner, and another will hold the honor of the Judge’s Choice winner. One restaurant could win both titles, but they’d have to have a unanimously awesome burger.
A $35 ticket gets you unlimited burger samples, one alcoholic beverage, unlimited non-alcoholic drinks and dessert. Tickets are available online. Take note, tickets are not available at the door.
Year after year, Burger Brawl serves as a fundraiser for technology updates in Philadelphia’s deserving schools. Last year, Burger Brawl raised $40,000 to split between technological advancements at two Philly schools.
This well-loved event (and feel-good culinary affair) is coming your way in just one month.
When: Sunday, June 8, 3-6 p.m.
