Ready for a long weekend, Philadelphia?

Memorial Day weekend, the unofficial start of summer, has arrived to kick off all of the warm weather activities we know and love — alfresco movies, summer night concerts, outdoor happy hours and much more.

The long weekend brings a ton of sure-to-be-awesome events to the City of Brotherly Love including an open-air artisan market at The Oval, waterfront concerts at Penn’s Landing and Morgan’s Pier, free outdoor yoga, Memorial Day ceremonies, the annual Devon Horse Show (complete with shopping and a carnival!) and much, much more.

This weekend also marks the final days of the Treasures from Korea: Arts and Culture of the Joseon Dynasty, 1392-1910 exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The exhibition spotlights the art and artifacts of the Joseon Dynasty in the first comprehensive survey dedicated the the subject in the United States and is truly a can’t miss exhibition.
