Tonight Picks: Free Beer And Cheese Happy Hour At Di Bruno Bros, Second Thursday At Johnny Brenda’s, Spring Shopping Soiree At Ted Baker London And More

While the weather forecast for tonight isn’t exactly perfect, there are plenty of indoor events slated for the upcoming hours, and in the meantime, cross your fingers for nice weather all night.

Spend your Thursday evening sampling free beer and cheese samples at Di Bruno Bros. at the Franklin’s complimentary happy hour. Every Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m., the artisan food shop features a different brewery and complementing cheese samples. Tonight, sip beer from Iron Hill Brewery and nosh on an array of perfectly-paired cheese.

Johnny Brenda’s ushers in a DJ set of classic soul, indie and new wave sounds for its monthly Second Thursday event. Get down to the sounds of DJ Colleen Crumbcake while sipping craft beer and hanging out at the neighborhood haunt.

Ted Baker London, the cool men and women’s lifestyle brand, celebrates its first stand-alone store in Pennsylvania with a Thursday evening party featuring free drinks, popcorn treats and music. Shop the retailer’s trendy items at a one-night-only 20-percent discount, too.

Di Bruno Bros. Franklin Market Beer and Cheese Happy Hour: Sip free Iron Hill Brewery beers and sample free cheese at Di Bruno Bros. at the Franklin’s recurring beer and cheese happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. All samples are completely free, just bring your appetite.

Second Thursday at Johnny Brenda’s: Spend your Thursday evening rocking out as Johnny Brenda’s hosts its Second Thursday event featuring a DJ set from DJ Colleen Crumbcake complete with indie, post-punk, classic soul and new wave sounds. The music-filled night kicks off at 8 p.m. this evening.

Spring Shopping Soiree at Ted Baker London: The brand-new Ted Baker London, a sharp lifestyle brand with clothes and accessories for both men and women, celebrates its recent opening at the King of Prussia Mall with a party tonight (and a store-wide 20-percent discount) from 5 to 8 p.m. Enjoy free sparkling tonics and sodas, Monkey Shoulder Whisky and popcorn treats while shopping to the sounds of a DJ. Plus, all Thursday evening shoppers will receive a limited edition “Ted Loves KOP” tote with any purchase.

Buzz into Spring at The Bronzed Bee: Beautify yourself for spring as The Bronzed Bee hosts a Buzz into Spring party complete with free brow shaping and makeup application in addition to summer-themed drinks and cupcakes. Annual Student Exhibition Preview Party at PAFA: The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts’ annual student exhibition preview party features more than 1,000 works, which are available for viewing and purchasing, by students. More than just a chance to mix and mingle with the artists themselves, the event raises proceeds for student scholarships. Online ticket sales have closed, but tickets are available with a check or credit card at the door. Tickets start at $150.

MOMIX Presents Alchemia at the Annenberg Center: MOMIX, an innovative group that blends dance, humor, spectacle, special effects and music debuts its latest show, Alchemia at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. The troupe’s newest work, Alchemia, explores the four classic elements of earth, water, air and fire.
