As a Lannister always pays his debts, so do Philadelphians always love their brunch.

The fourth season of HBO hit Game of Thrones winds down to an undoubtedly bloody conclusion this week, and City Tap House is there to soothe viewers with the second edition of its Brunch of Thrones on Sunday, June 15.

All men (and women) must brunch, and service begins at 11 a.m. featuring three George R. R. Martin-inspired specialties.

Dive in to a Flea Bottom Bowl of Brown (country fried steak with brown gravy, potato hash and fried egg); Sansa’s Lemon Cakes (lemon pancakes with berry compote and honey-thyme butter); and Stark’s Poultry Pie (pulled duck with green onion and mushroom gravy, topped with puff pastry and poached egg).

These one-day-only specials are in addition to regular menu brunch options like the Hangover Flatbread and homemade Belgian waffles.

Plus, look for the newly created Beast-ro Burger, which is fit for a dragon with eight ounces of Pineland Hill Farms beef topped with Nueskes bacon, leek, sausage gravy, chile, potato hash, fried egg and sandwiched between slices of French toast with a maple beer gastrique.

At noon, the GoT Trivia game begins, hosted by quizzo master Johnny Goodtimes.

Reservations for this one-day-only event are recommended.
