Celebrate Father’s Day and the Chasing Dreams: Baseball and Becoming American exhibition at the National Museum of American Jewish History with free museum admission, an outdoor block party and an alfresco movie screening on Sunday, June 15 for the Chasing Dreams Mall Extravaganza.
All day long enjoy free admission (!) to the museum and explore the galleries later than usual as the museum opens its doors from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on June 15.
Beginning at 2 p.m., Independence Mall welcomes baseball fans for a slew of outdoor programming relating to NMAJH’s current marquee exhibition.
Look forward to meet and greets with former Phillies, live music from a number of musical groups, baseball-themed games (including a speed pitch challenge!), a photo booth, face painting, crafts and more. Also nosh on fare from a number of Philly’s favorite food trucks.
The outdoor festivities close out with a free screening of Field of Dreams at 9 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets for the outdoor movie screening.
