It’s no secret we love beer gardens around here, and now there’s one more awesome alfresco beer-sipping destination in the mix.
On Saturday, June 28, Garden Variety in Northern Liberties officially opens its pop-up summertime beer garden, debuting yet another great space to enjoy craft beers, local eats and sweet sunshine.
To hang out and enjoy local Philadelphia craft beers and cider, patrons must sign up for a free membership. Just show ID (21 and over, please) and sign up right on-site for free any time during business hours.
Beyond the brews, this weekend look out for snacks and treats from Mom-Mom’s, Lil Pop Shop Popsicles, Mom-Mom’s Polish Food Cart and Calle Del Sabor.
The food carts will change throughout the summer, but folks can usually count on snacks on Fridays and Saturdays from 8 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
For current info on the brews, food and acoustic performances by national and local musical acts, check out Garden Variety on Facebook.
Note that this weekend, the beer garden will be open on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29. Throughout the remainder of the summer, though, the space will operate on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Stay tuned for more at Garden Variety, too. We hear there will be a blowout block party to wrap up the summer season.
Cheers to alfresco beers!
