Ready to raise a brew to summer? We sure are.
The Visit Philly Beer Garden Series officially launches this Friday, June 6 at Morgan’s Pier, and you’re invited.
Running all summer long, the new weekly happy-hour series visits one awesome beer garden every Friday from this week until Friday, August 29.
The pop-up happy hour runs from 4 to 7 p.m., and includes specials on food and local craft beer, as well fun and games led by the Visit Philly team.
This Friday, come out and celebrate summer in the city while sipping Victory Brewing Company’s Summer Love Ale, a beer that took Visit Philadelphia’s With Love, Philadelphia XOXO initiative from billboards to bottles with the ale launch in 2010.
From 4 to 7 p.m., Summer Love Ale pints will be $4 a piece, and Morgan’s Pier chef Dave Gilberg will dish Duck Drumettes with Victory Summer Love mustard (think wings, except duck!) for $2 a piece.
This week, the Visit Philly crew will be onsite with a Visit Philly pop-up photo booth and summertime giveaways (think sunglasses and koozies). Snap a shot while having a super time at Morgan’s Pier, tag your photos with #vistphilly and #phillybeer and get a free print and the ability to share directly on your choice of social platforms.
Plus, the first 75 people to stop by the Visit Philly table and show us a shared post on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook tagged #vistphilly and #phillybeer score a free Uwishunu beer boot! It’s that easy.
Shout that you’re coming by RSVPing via Facebook right here.
After Morgan’s Pier this week, the series will visit a single beer garden each Friday. Next up: Frankford Hall on Friday, June 13.
Check out the full summer schedule right here.
See you out there, folks.
