This weekend, head down to Penn’s Landing for the Hispanic Fiesta, a free and lively celebration of Latino culture that’s part of the PECO Multicultural Series of festivals.
From 2 to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, July 12 and 13, the Great Plaza will transform into a Latin American paradise, complete with traditional dance performances, authentic cuisine and some of the best Hispanic musicians in the business. El Maffio and Charlie Cruz will headline the shows on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Throughout the festival, kids will delight in meeting Dora the Explorer. At the Health Corner, attendees can take advantage of free health screenings.
And die-hard fútbol fans needn’t worry – the McDonald’s #FiestaTour bus will live broadcast all of the World Cup games.
Plus, the fiesta is the perfect chance to check out — or just hang out! — at Spruce Street Harbor Park, the new pop-up park on the Delaware River Waterfront.
