Peddler’s Village Celebrates National Blueberry Month With Its Bluegrass And Blueberries Festival This Weekend, July 12-13

The blueberry has an entire month dedicated to its fruity deliciousness (enter July), and Peddler’s Village’s Bluegrass and Blueberries Festival is set to celebrate the sweet summer fruit in a big way at this weekend, July 12 and 13.

All weekend long, sample fresh blueberries from the nearby Bechdolt’s Orchards in Bucks County.

Also enjoy blueberry treats of all sort — blueberry pies, blueberry cream cake, blueberry muffins, blueberry shortcake, pull-apart blueberry bread, blueberry crepes, blueberry candy and even blueberry margaritas.

In addition to plenty of fruity food, a number of local bands fill the attraction throughout the weekend to provide music for the bluegrass portion of the festival. Look forward to twangy guitar solos, soulful vocals and much more. The full rundown of live entertainment (including a stiltwalker!) is available right here.

The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Admission is totally free.

Bonus: For the first time ever, festival guests are encouraged to purchase a special VIP package for an air conditioned dining area, preferred parking, next in line seating at five participating restaurants, food specials, the chance to win a variety of prizes and more. The VIP package is $40 per person.
