Bring Fido to Chestnut Hill on Sunday, July 13 as the neighborhood hosts its first-ever Dog Days of Summer festival.

From noon to 4 p.m., activities for both humans and their dogs fill the avenue — on Germantown and Highland avenues in Chestnut Hill.

Look forward to crafts, face painting, caricature artists, music (from DJ Waggles, of course), vendors and more. For the four-legged friends, find pet trainers, paw readers (!), dog treats and more.

Also meet with representatives from animal rescue agencies and hear from veterinarians, too.

Beyond the festival, from 3 to 6 p.m., certain businesses are slated to serve up “Yappy Hour” specials for dogs. The list of Yappy Hour specials is available right here.

Access to the festival is completely free, pay for desired goods as you go.
