The World Cup tournament ends this weekend, but sports fans in Philadelphia are in luck!
The Philadelphia Freedoms season has just begun, and the home schedule is jam-packed with matches against some of the world’s best tennis champions. Plus, between serves, spectators can enjoy theme nights with special entertainment and goodies.
The fun kicks off on Tuesday, July 15, when Victoria Azarenka, the world’s #4 ranked singles player leads the Freedoms against the San Diego Aviators.
On Wednesday, July 16, the Freedoms take on the Springfield Lasers during Girls Night Out. The evening will include a special appearance by hometown hero Lisa Raymond, live music from country pop singer/songwriter Kirsten Sowers, complimentary wine, and special menus from Winnie’s LeBus Manayunk and Sweet Street Desserts.

On Kids and Family Night on Friday, July 18, the Freedoms take on the Boston Lobsters. The first 250 kids under age 15 each receive a free junior tennis racquet.
US Open champion Andy Roddick represents the Austin Aces on Monday, July 21.
On Tuesday, July 22, the Freedoms challenge the Boston Lobsters again during Philadelphia 76ers and Military Appreciation Night. The evening will include giveaways, dance performances, halftime celebrity tennis matches and more. Active and retired military personnel who show ID at the box office will receive $10 off all tickets.
The final home match takes place on Wednesday, July 23, dubbed Guys Night Out. As the Freedoms play against conference rivals the Washington Kastles, attendees can enjoy free beer from Yards Brewing Company and guy-themed grub.
All matches will be held at the Villanova University Pavilion in Villanova, PA. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and play begins at 7 p.m. Tickets start at just $15 and are available exclusively online, and packages are available for extra savings.
