In the outdoor summer movie spirit, the Trolley Car Diner joins the warm weather fun with outdoor movie screenings on Saturday evenings through August 16.

As part of the Moonlight Movie screenings in Mt. Airy, crowds are invited out to the Germantown Avenue restaurant and ice cream shop for movie screenings of all sort this summer — classic films, kid favorites, past summer blockbusters and more.

This Saturday, July 12, watch a free screening of The Incredibles. Next Saturday, July 19, tune in to a screening of Close Encounters of the Third Kind. The full list of upcoming films is available right here.

All films begin at 8:30 p.m., and seating begins at 8 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and beach chairs.

Be sure to grab an ice cream cone from the Trolley Car’s ice cream shop for maximum enjoyment throughout each film.

In the case of rain, film screenings move indoors to the Mt. Airy Presbyterian Church.
