The Visit Philly Beer Garden Series has rocked its way through summer, hitting a different beer garden in Philadelphia every Friday since June with happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m., including specials on food and local craft beer, giveaways and more.
Today, the second-to-last week of the happy hour series continues today at Independence Beer Garden on Independence Mall in Old City.
The roving happy hour makes its second stop at IBG, one of the newest permanent beer gardens to join the still-growing scene.
In a summer of fleeting pop ups (The Oval is gone, and soon we’ll say so long Spruce Street Harbor Park!) Independence Beer Garden supplies America’s most historic square mile with a much-needed permanent destination for casual all-day alfresco eating, drinking and playing.
If you haven’t yet checked out this awesome addition to Old City, tonight’s the night.
From 4 to 7 p.m., score $4 pints of Yards Brewing Company’s Philly Pale Ale and $4 pretzel bites with spicy house mustard.
Plus, look out for giveaways of free summer swag (think sunglasses, pint glasses, etc.).
Shout that you’re coming by RSVPing via Facebook right here.
After Independence Beer Garden this week, the series has just one more Fridays to go! Check us out for the final Visit Philly happy hour of the summer next Friday, back where it all began at Morgan’s Pier.
Cheers to the weekend!
