The goatee. The beehive. The Rachel. History has given us some pretty memorable hair — and facial hair — styles.

Join the Historical Society of Pennsylvania to celebrate these iconic looks during its first-ever ’Staches and Spirits party this Thursday, October 16.

From 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., guests will get exclusive access to a one-night-only display of some of the best hairstyles throughout the ages.

Attendees are encouraged to come coiffed with their best ’dos and ’staches for a chance to win one of two $100 vouchers from Southwest Airlines, too.

Raffle tickets will also be sold on site with prizes from local museums, small businesses and neighborhood salons.

Throughout the evening, WhistlePig Straight Rye Whiskey will offer a special tasting. Attendees can also enjoy beer, wine, soft drinks and hors d’oeuvres.

Tickets cost $25 each and are available online now. This hair-raising event is only open to guests 21 and older.
