With Christmas Eve just one week (!) away, the city is buzzing with holiday happenings and tons of holiday cheer.

The South Street neighborhood hosts the Santa’s South Street Stumble Bar Crawl, which will hit 12 bars in the neighborhood and provide revelers with drink discounts for some post-work fun.

It’s the final Wednesday for Chestnut Hill’s Stag and Doe shopping night, which adds tons of merry fun to the holiday shopping process as it promises Christmas carols, refreshments, sales, visits from Santa and more.

Popular holiday attractions continue this evening, too. Make plans to visit popular spots like the the Macy’s Christmas Light Show, Franklin Square Holiday Festival or the holiday lights in South Philly before the season ends.

Stag and Doe Night in Chestnut Hill

It’s the final Stag and Doe shopping night in Chestnut Hill — so head out to finish your Christmas shopping! Head to Germantown Avenue in for sales paired with Christmas carolers, festive food and drink, holiday tunes and visits from Santa Claus. Participating stores include shops from the 7900 to 8700 blocks of Germantown Avenue.

Macy’s Christmas Light Show

Open until 8 p.m., the Christmas Light Show at Macy’s Center City illuminates a large wall inside the historic Wanamaker building with nearly 100,000 LED lights that all dance to the sounds of carols pumped out of the Wanamaker Organ. Families gather in the Great Court atrium to watch the show at the top of the hour, every two hours, from 10 a.m to 8 p.m.

Santa’s South Street Stumble Bar Crawl

Sip beer, wine or cocktails along South Street this evening as Santa’s South Street Stumble brings bar crawl fun to 12 bars throughout the South Street Headhouse District. For an admission fee of $5, enjoy $3 craft beer, $4 wine and $5 holiday cocktails. Guests will also receive a Santa hat. Check in will take place at Cavanaugh’s Headhouse where revelers will receive a passport to have stamped throughout the bar crawl. Passport have to be turned in to Brauhaus Schmitz by 9:30 p.m.
