Tonight Picks: Free Movie Screenings At The Schuylkill Banks And Penn’s Landing, Pairings On The Parkway, Center City Restaurant Week, Free Yoga At Race Street Pier And More

This summer Thursday is full of warm-weather-only events — outdoor movie screenings, BYOB picnics, an outdoor concert and much more.

Tonight, both Penn’s Landing and the Schuylkill Banks host free movie screenings — head to Penn’s Landing for The Lego Movie and the Schuylkill Banks for Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Arc.

Tonight is also the second-to-last night for Center City Restaurant Week, so make plans to fill up on a $35 three-course dinner at some of the most dined-at restaurants in the city.

Along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Pairings on the Parkway, a BYOB event, continues tonight for an alfresco picnic with grilled fare from Logan Square Café.

Free Movie Screening at Grays Ferry Crescent

Tonight, Grays Ferry Crescent at the Schuylkill Banks hosts a free screening of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark at 8 p.m. In addition to the flick, guests can also enjoy free snacks, drinks and a free raffle. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner as well.

Free Movie Screening at Penn’s Landing

The Lego Movie takes the spotlight at Penn’s Landing tonight for the weekly Screenings Under the Stars event. Tonight’s film will start at 8 p.m.

Center City Restaurant Week

Discounted dinners are served at a number of great restaurants in Center City — Butcher and Singer, Aldine, Tinto, Barbuzzo and more — as restaurant week continues. Be sure to make plans to enjoy the foodie promotion soon: Restaurant Week ends tomorrow, August 14.

Pairings on the Parkway

Bring a bottle of your favorite wine, or a six-pack of your favorite beer, and head to Sister Cities Park for Pairings on the Parkway. Guests can pair their BYOB wine or beer with grilled fare from the on-site Logan Square Café, which will be available for purchase. Tonight, Kwesi K will provide live music for guests. The fun runs from 5 to 8 p.m.

Free Yoga at Race Street Pier

Practice yoga with the Delaware River as your background as Race Street Pier hosts free yoga this evening at 6 p.m. Bring your own mat, a few friends and enjoy the popular warm weather promotion.
